This past Sunday night, Lady Antebellum took home the crown for Top Vocalist Group of the Year.  Lady Antebellum came out as the night’s top winner, taking home a total of 5 awards in three categories.

Little Big Town has little time to think about the loss. They are getting prepared for this year’s Country Throwdown Tour kicking off May 14, 2010, at the Ford Amphitheater in Tampa, FL.  Other acts joining Little Big Town on the road are Montgomery Gentry, Jamey Johnson, Jack Ingram, The Lost Trailers, Emily West and many more.  For a complete list of artist and dates, visit countrythrowdown.com.

The quartet, whose biggest hit thus far was “Boondocks” off of “The Road to Here” in 2005, will go up against Lady Antebellum, Randy Rogers band, Rascal Flatts and the Zac Brown Band.

The band has released four albums since 2002, each gaining more and more steam.  “Little White Church” is set for a 2010 release, so they are sure to be all over the place come Award season in 2011!
